Walsall Football Club winger Kieron Morris has today spoken about his desire to prove himself at the club, as he heads into the final four months of his short-term deal.
20-year-old Hereford-born Morris joined the Saddlers as an apprentice following time with Hereford United Youth Academy, he went on to sign pre-terms in 2013.
During the 2012/13 season Kieron spent time on loan at Conference North side Worcester City, making eight appearances and scoring one goal, and the following season he had a loan spell at Leamington, where he played in four league games.
Kieron penned a new short-term deal at the end of last season, and is keen to earn a new deal with the club, speaking to the Express & Star, Kieron said; “I have to kick on from here. I am only on a short-term contract and my aim is to get a new deal.
“I need to get more games as my current deal is up at Christmas. I just want to push on now and get more games and goals under my belt.
“Having come off the bench a few times now I am as not as nervous as I was before. I know when I come on I can build.
“When you first get on it is a bit nerve-racking but once you get a couple of touches of the ball it is fine.
“When that happens your confidence comes on. I just do what I want to do."
