Walsall Football Club manager Dean Smith spoke to the press following the teams 0-0 Sky Bet League One draw with Bradford City, and offered an update on the state of one of the club's injured stars.Defender James Chambers was substituted off after 70 minutes due to what has now been revealed as a hamstring injury.
33-year-old Chambers was replaced by veteran defender Dean Holden and immediately began recieving treatment form club Physio Jon Whitney, the full extent of the injury is yet to be discovered.
Meanwhile fellow defender James O'Connor missed the game due to a knee injury, this allowed youngster Liam Kinsella to make his first start for the club.
The Saddlers are already without defenders Matt Preston and Ben Purkiss, midfielder Sam Mantom and striker Jordan Cook, who all suffered injuries over pre-season
