Walsall Football Club manager Dean Smith has today spoken to the club's official website and offered his thought's on the upcoming Sky Bet League One fixture, away to Leyton Orient.
Speaking to saddlers.co.uk, Smith said; "Having served Leyton Orient as a player and coach, they are a club close to my heart. They have invested heavily in their squad over the summer and allied to the players that took them close to promotion last season, they will be a tough proposition for us.
"That said, we deserved to beat them a couple of times last year in three tight games and we are looking forward to this latest challenge.
"They will feel that they have a better equipped squad this season, but at the same time, we know that we can be competitive against anyone in this League.
"We are looking forward to the game and I would like to thank those supporters who will be making the trip to cheer us on."
