Walsall supporters are invited to attend a Fun Day that is taking place at Bronze Cricket Club in Great Barr on Sunday, 7th September, in memory of Bert Chambers, the father of Saddlers duo Adam and James, who sadly passed away last year.
The day will commence at midday with a junior fixture between Bronze Juniors and Aldridge Juniors. This will be followed by some fun activities and family competitions, including inflatable gladiator duals and a bouncy castle, in association with Walsall Council before a T20 fixture between Bronze and Pelsall takes place at 4.00pm.
There will be a bar open throughout the day and a barbecue is also planned.
The Memorial for Bert will be unveiled at the end of the T20 game.
A bucket collection will also take place for the British Heart Foundation, so please come along and show your support. It takes place at Bronze Cricket Club, The Anson Ground, Chapel Lane, Great Barr B43 7BA and all are welcome.
