Walsall Football Club midfielder James Baxendale has today spoken of his desire to help the club achieve new heights and repay the faith the manager has shown in him...Speaking to the Express & Star, James said: “You are excited for next season and the way I feel I am itching for next season. From my point of view last season probably went the way it did for us as a team. I was consistently OK, while there were patches where I was really good.
“I have to get to be really good every week next season and obviously I am going to do everything in my power to make that happen.
“Obviously the club have put faith in me and I have put faith in the club. I signed because I think the team can go places and I still feel that. For me it was a case of wanting to be part of something I feel is going to take off.”
