According to a report in the Sheffield Star, and as indicated on our Rumour Mill page last month, Walsall Football Club are amongst a host of clubs interested in acquiring the signature of Febian Brandy...
The Star suggests, "Dean Smith’s side are among a number of teams to express an interest in the Sheffield United winger after Nigel Clough, the South Yorkshire club’s manager, revealed he will consider offers for the player.
"Brandy joined United from Walsall 12 months ago after rejecting the opportunity to sign a new contract with their League One rivals.
"However, after collecting his second red card of the campaign soon after Clough took charge in October, the 25-year-old subsequently returned to the Midlands where he made 20 appearances towards the end of last season."
The only major stumbling block for the Saddlers is Febian's contract, which runs until the summer of 2015, with an option of a further year.
