Walsall Football Club manager Dean Smith has today insisted that there is much hard work going on behind the scenes in an effort to secure new players for the coming Sky Bet League One campaign...Speaking to Saddlers.co.uk, Smith said: “Our efforts to secure new faces are ongoing with Richard O’Kelly, Neil Cutler and I working extremely hard behind-the-scenes over the past few weeks.
“We have identified a number of targets and spoken to various agents, so hopefully we’ll be able to announce some positive news in the not too distant future. It’s a case of watch this space.”
