Sky Bet League Two side Portsmouth have today announced the signing of soon-to-be former Walsall striker Craig Westcarr on a two-year contract, with an option of a third.
The acquisition of Westcarr, who scored seventeen goals last season, has been hailed as a coup by Pompey boss Andy Awford, he told PortsmouthFC.co.uk: “Craig is a welcome addition to the squad, who scored plenty of goals in League One last season.
“He brings something different to our attack and I’m looking forward to working with him when the squad return for pre-season training.”
The deal will go through on July 1st.
