Walsall manager Dean Smith has today spoken of his belief that soon to be out-of-contract left-back Andy Taylor wants to remain at the club, and hopes a deal can be struck within the next few weeks...
Speaking to the Walsall Advertiser, Smith said: "I've been away and Andy has been on a course in Northern Ireland getting his coaching badges but we've been in contact.
"We've had good talks and I think Andy would like to stay. We want him to stay so it's just a matter of whether we can come to some sort of agreement on a deal.
"But both parties need to make a decision in the next couple of weeks as to which way they are going to go."
