Walsall Football Club manager Dean Smith has today revealed that talks between the club and soon to be out-of-contract defender Andy Taylor are ongoing...
Speaking to the Express & Star, Smith said: “We're still talking and it’s a case of us putting together the financial package that is acceptable to Andy,”
Taylor, who has been away on a coaching course over the past few days, is highly sought-after following several solid displays during his time at the club and will form a major part of Dean Smith's plans for the coming season, especially as possible target Mat Sadler has penned a deal with recently promoted Championship side Rotherham United.
Recently, Smith revealed he had been in contact with former defender Mat Sadler about a possible return to the club following his release by Crawley Town.
