Walsall Football Club midfielder James Baxendale has today spoken of his admiration for Saddlers 'keeper Richard O'Donnell and of desire for club captain Andy Butler to take up his one-year extension and remain at the Banks's Stadium next season...
Speaking to the Walsall Advertiser, Baxendale said: "He's such a big player for us. He's a great lad, he comes in every day and does things right and drags people through with him.
"That's the kind of guy he is, he's a really good leader and I'm desperate for him to sign.
"But a massive one for us is Richard O'Donnell's signing. I think he's been outstanding this season, really, really good. For every team, I think if you've got a good keeper you really can build from there."
