The 'Club Legends Cup' which will be held in Birmingham's LG Arena, is a unique six-a-side indoor football tournament that will feature several Midlands football heroes, teaming up with lucky fans on each team, giving them the chance to become a legend for the day.
Legends from Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion, Birmingham City, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Coventry City, Walsall Football Club, as well as two mystery line-ups will combine with the fans to compete in the show-piece event, which is in support Midland charity, Cure Leukaemia.
To add to the entertainment there will also be the Little Legends Cup supported by the UK's leading Children's football coaching company FootieBugs. The exciting school’s tournament will be followed by a Ladies Legends match before the Club Legends Cup gets underway. All this along along with a host of fun activities around the arena is sure to make it a fantastic day out for the whole family!
The Walsall team, organised by the Walsall Football Supporters' Trust and their recently established 'Former Players Association', will be managed by Ray Graydon, and will include; Tony Millard, Andy Reece, Mark Taylor, Brian Palgrave, Ian Roper, Tony Barras, Andy Tillson, Simon Osborn, Jamie Lawrence, Lee Harper, Pedro Matias, Zigor Aranalde and hopefully Jorge Leitão.
Tickets for the event are on sale now from the Ticket Factory or via the official Club Legends website at www.clublegendscup.co.uk priced at just £10 for adults and just £2 for under 16's (plus booking fees).
We have a family ticket, which will admit two adults and two children, up for grabs for this special event.
To be in with a chance of winning, all you need to do is answer the following question...
Q: The Club Legends Cup could see Walsall legend Jorge Leitão put on a Saddlers shirt for the first time since January 2006. How much money did Walsall Football Club pay C.D. Feirense to bring him to the Bescot Stadium in the summer of 2000?
