This coming Saturday, Walsall Football Club make the trip to Hertfordshire to take on Stevenage in Sky Bet League One;

The Saddlers head into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw with Gillingham, and have won just two of their last ten league games as their end of season slump continues, with just three wins in the last seventeen games.

Walsall could be without Ben Purkiss who has an eye injury, whilst left-back Andy Taylor could remain on the bench after a loss of form.

Already relegated Stevenage, who were defeated 3-1 by Bristol City on Bank Holiday Monday, are in the midst of a similar poor run, the Boro are winless in the last ten games. Manager Graham Westley is already preparing for next season, and has plans to completely rebuild the squad for League Two football.

The Boro will be without Jon Ashton, Bira Dembele, Roarie Deacon, Dean Parrett, Darius Charles, Francois Zoko and Filipe Morais who are all unavailable.

This Saturday's game will be the sixth time that the sides have met, Walsall hold a slight lead over their opponents with two wins to Boro's one, there have also been two draws.

Walsall will be looking to complete the double over their opponents, having defeated them 2-1 in October, with goals from Romaine Sawyers, Craig Westcarr and François Zoko respectively.
