This coming Saturday, Walsall Football Club travel the fairly short distance to Vale Park to take on Port Vale in Sky Bet League One;
Walsall head into the match following back-to-back League One victories, having defeated Bradford City and Shrewsbury Town respectively.
The Saddlers will be without top-scorer Craig Westcarr who is suspended for the next three games following a red card picked up for violent conduct versus Shrewsbury at the weekend.
Walsall will be hopeful of better news in Chelsea winger Milan Lalkovic's fitness battle, the on-loan winger has been receiving treatment at his parent club in a bid to recover quickly from a hamstring strain suffered in the first half against Bradford City.
Tenth placed Port Vale have won just one of their last five league games, including a 5-0 away defeat to Bristol City, and go into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw with relegation threatened Stevenage.
In terms of head-to-head, the Saddlers have a large advantage with thirty-three wins to Vales' sixteen, there have also been twenty-two draws between the two sides.
