Walsall's on-loan Chelsea winger Milan Lalkovic has returned from a brief spell of treatment with his parent club to be assessed at the Saddlers' Essington training ground ahead of tomorrow's trip to Carlisle.
21-year old Lalkovic has previously missed some playing time with a similar injury, but Walsall manager Dean Smith has confirmed that it is not a recurrence of that previous injury and that it is in fact a new one.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Smith said; "It’s a different leg. It’s a different one to last time so it depends on how bad it is."
"He has had extensive treatment down there but we won’t know too much until Jon Whitney has touched base with their physio at Chelsea to discover the extent and how good his recovery is."
