Walsall first-year pro Danny Griffiths has joined Evo-Stik League Northern Premier Division side Barwell on a one-month loan deal.
Griffiths links up with fellow Saddler Matt Preston who joined The Kirkby Roaders on a month's deal in February.
Speaking to Saddlers.co.uk, Griffiths expressed his delight at the first-team football opportunity; "It will be good to get out and be involved in some competitive action. My loan move to Chasetown really helped me earlier in the season and this is a step up in standard, so I am looking forward to testing myself.
"It's going to be physical but that is exactly what I need right now as I continue my development in the game. Matt Preston has said a lot of good things about the club, so it all bodes well for me.
"I feel that I have really made progress this season and that is thanks to the work I have done with Richard O’Kelly and Dean Holden. It’s been hard work, and I have spent a lot of time in the gym, but I have a determination to succeed here and this loan move is all part of that process.
"I’ll go there looking to give it my all and help the team. I want to play as often as I can and get my name on the scoresheet so that I can really push on."
