Walsall Football Club have announced that from next season there will be a brand new digital scoreboard at the Banks's Stadium.The club have released a statement via Saddlers.co.uk; "As we strive to improve the overall matchday experience for supporters through the continued improvement of the stadium and facilities, we believe this represents a big step forward and one that is long overdue.
"We have teamed up with Birmingham-based D3LED Europe on this project. D3 have a fantastic reputation and are responsible for delivering the LED Displays a lot of you will know from the Aston Expressway into Birmingham and in the City on Broad Street between the Hyatt Hotel and the ICC.
"We are confident that they will deliver a first-class product, which will genuinely enhance your visit to the stadium.
"The scoreboard will be fully animated and capable of everything from in-match action replays and previous game footage to running sponsorship advertisements and supporter messages. The LED display will combine state-of-the-art technology with stunning HD Quality Images.
"This is an exciting venture that will provide another avenue to drive revenues to be pumped back into the football side of the business."
