A West Midlands Police officer yesterday confirmed that five people were arrested during the afternoon's Black Country Derby between Walsall and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Amongst the arrests was a Walsall supporter who encroached onto the pitch following the games opening goal, the supporter approached goalscorer Nouha Dicko but was challenged by other players, and ultimately removed by stewards.
