A squad of Walsall Football Club legends, organised by the Walsall Football Supporters' Trust is to take part in a fund raising match against a Darlaston 1874 XI in aid of the newly formed Darlaston Town Football Club.
Darlaston folded at the end of last season after 139 years in existence, but the club was quickly reborn and plans are in place for the club to re-enter the league next season.
The match takes place tomorrow (Sunday) at Bentley Leisure Pavilions, Bentley Road North, Walsall, and is set to kick-off at 2:00pm with the aim of raising funds to help the club.
The Walsall team will be made up of several legends including Andy Reece, Mark Kinsella, Ian Roper, Brian Palgrave, Mark Taylor, Paul Jones, Neil Ironsides, Josh Bowker, Tommy Dass and local champion boxer Martin Gethin.
Tickets will cost just £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.
