This weekend Walsall travel to the North West to take on Preston North End in Sky Bet League One.
Andy Taylor faces a late fitness test, the left-back has missed the last few games with a knee injury and remains the Saddlers only injury concern.
Walsall have won one of their previous five league games and will be keen to avenge a 3-0 reverse against Preston earlier in the season.
Preston are awaiting the verdict on midfielder John Welsh's knee injury, the North End skipper having undergone a precautionary scan after being sidelined for the last two games.
Boss Simon Grayson must also check on defender Scott Wiseman, who took a knock in the midweek 3-3 draw at home to Rotherham United
Fourth placed Preston have lost just one league game in 2014, and will be keen to continue their run of form against the Saddlers, who they defeated in-front of 4,205 at the Banks's Stadium in August.
In terms of head-to-head, Walsall hold a slight advantage, with twenty-four wins to Preston's twenty-one. There have also been ten draws between the two sides.
