Walsall will be without captain Andy Butler who was sent off during the Saddlers' 3-0 defeat to Milton Keynes Dons, Ben Purkiss is set to deputise. Left-back Andy Taylor has once again been ruled out with a knee injury. Mal Benning is set to continue in his place. James Chambers has been passed fit which will be a boost to manager Dean Smith as he looks to get back to winning ways.

Peterborough, are without midfielder Grant McCann for the visit of seventh-placed Walsall, the team just two points below them.

New signings Jack Baldwin and Josh McQuoid could make their debuts, while loan defender Ben Nugent is expected to arrive from Cardiff in time to play.
