Walsall defender Andy Taylor is set to miss around two weeks of action after picking up a knee injury during Saturday's 1-1 draw with promotion chasing Brentford.
Manager Dean Smith has today confirmed Andy has suffered a 'Grade one' tear and is to be replaced by Mal Benning.
Speaking to the Express & Star Smith said; "Andy has had a scan and it looks like he will be out for a couple of weeks with a grade one tear. It’s unfortunate for him, but I think we have a more than able replacement in Mal who came on against Brentford and did well.
He continued; "It’s a shame for Andy. He has been part of a very good defence all season. Mal has been patient and probably a bit frustrated – he showed what he can do in his cameo on Saturday."
