Last night a young Walsall XI suffered defeat at the hands of a hungry Chasetown side in the Quarter Final of the Walsall Senior CupTwo goals from Chasetown striker Nick Wellecomme early in the second half were enough to see the Scholars safely through to the semi final.
The Saddlers had previously defeated Bilston Town to reach the Quarter Final whilst our hosts Chasetown, defeated Sporting Khalsa.
