Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken of his desire to add to the squad and insisted he will work until the very last second of 'Deadline Day' to complete any potential deal.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Smith said; "We are working on things and hoping to get things done. If it does take till the last moment then you have to work that hard because we do want someone to come in and strengthen.
"The phone is hot at the moment and it has been hot for the last couple of days. It’s not stopping, we are desperately trying to recruit people but Coventry are trying to recruit people, so are Rotherham and everyone else.
"People are out there looking to get players in all the time and you end up in battles with other clubs."
