Walsall Football Club have opened negotiations with Chelsea Football Club over the extension of winger Milan Lalkovic's loan deal.The Slovakia Under-21 international's deal with the Saddlers is due to expire on 4th January.
Walsall manager Dean Smith told the Express & Star, "We are speaking with Chelsea at the moment. Nothing has been finalised yet but we are talking about what their thoughts are on him and where they want to go with him over the next six months."
He continued; "Speaking to Milan, I think he’d like to stay. We think there is certainly a lot more development in him for us but we have to make sure it’s right for both parties."
