Walsall Football Club's Youth team have progressed to the Third Round of the FA Youth Cup.The Centre of Excellence side defeated Altrincham's Youth side 4-0 in-front of a small crowd at Banks's stadium, with goals from Altrincham defender David Brown who, following a defensive mix-up, slotted the ball past his own 'keeper after just three minutes, followed-up by Saddlers left-sided midfielder Westleigh Rush who benefited from a great team move to beat Altricham 'keeper Samberg.
Saddlers prospect Amadou Bakayoko, who is well into double-figures this season, then slotted home following a cross from the left wing, the scoring was completed by Westleigh Rush who slammed home a free kick from the edge of the area.
The Saddlers, who had previously defeated Port Vale in Round One, will be rewarded with an away trip to West Bromwich Albion in the Third Round.
