This weekend sees the annual Walsall Supporters' versus Walsall Legends game take place, and as usual the fixture will be held at Rushall Olympic's Dale's Lane ground. Kick off is scheduled for 3pm, and admission prices are set at £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.
The Walsall Football Supporters' Trust have also announced that English Boxing Champion and Walsall supporter Martin Gethin has agreed to take part in match. Martin will be joined by Tony Barras, Ian Roper, Mark Taylor, Brian Palgrave, Tony Millard, Darren Wrack, Tommy Dass, Andy Reece, Terry Angus and keeper Neil Ironside who impressed against the Legends playing for Lichfield City Vets last season.
Amongst the festivities there will also be a raffle held which features some great prizes including a VIP day in an executive box at the Banks's Stadium for an up and coming home fixture which includes a match ticket, food and a free bar kindly donated by the Gunners 2 Club in Leamore.
As usual, a whole host of former players will be in attendance at what has become a great annual event.
The Clubhouse bar will be open throughout the match and a match day programme will also available at the price of £1.
