Walsall Football Club goalkeeping prospect Liam Roberts has put pen-to-paper on a new deal at the Banks's Stadium.Roberts has signed until the end of the season following impressive performances for the reserves and development teams.
Roberts spoke of his pride to saddlers.co.uk; "I am really proud of myself for getting this new deal so soon. I feel that I have really improved in a short space of time and a lot of that is down to the work I have been doing with Neil Cutler.
"There is a whole different tempo in the first-team compared to what I was used to in the youth team, but Neil is a great coach and has really helped me make the transition. Now I just want to keep working hard on all aspects of my game and push on."
