Walsall Football Club have today completed the signing of former West Bromwich Albion midfielder James McQuilkin on a one-year contract, following a successful trial.24-year-old midfielder began his career with West Bromwich Albion before being released in 2007, James joined Czech side FC Fastav Zlín in 2007 and made several appearances for both the first-team and 'B' side.
Tipton-born McQuilkin joined Hereford United in 2009 and made his Football League debut in the opening game of the 2009/10 season.
James went on to make over seventy-five first team appearances for The Bulls before being released in March 2013.
