"It all kicks off Saturday so we’re all looking forward to that and seeing how we shape up. Expectations are higher after last year but the fans’ expectations will never outweigh mine. My expectations are always very high and I expect my players’ expectations to be high as well.
"They were very disappointed last season that they didn't get to the play-off's at least. We’ll see how it goes - you never know until the season kicks in, you look at it after six or seven games and you start seeing the layout of the league.
"I have said it’s going to be a tougher league this year with the size of the clubs that are coming into it from both League Two and down from the Championship. We've got to be stand up and be counted – expectations are what they are, you've just got to deal with it. I've always said – why say you want to finish sixth or seventh? First is your aim at the start of the season."
