Walsall Football Club and Brentford are still engaged in negotiations regarding a fee for Will Grigg, in an attempt to avoid a tribunal.
The Solihull born, Northern Ireland international completed his move to The Bees this week on a three-year deal after his the Saddlers contract expired.
Brentford sporting director Mark Warburton is hopeful the two parties can avoid a tribunal, he told the Hounslow Chronicle: "Discussions with Walsall are ongoing. We are trying to reach an amicable agreement – a tribunal is a last resort. The key point is when a player is out of contract a compensation fee for their development must be paid, it's not a transfer fee."
