According to press reports in London, Brentford are expected to announce the signing of Walsall striker Will Grigg later today.
As we reported on Saturday, Bees manager Uwe Rosler had indicated an announcement was close, he told the Hounslow Chronicle; "In certain positions towards the end of last season we were very thin, for example at centre-half. We need to bring in an experienced defender who can compete with Tony Craig and Harlee Dean."

Should the deal be completed, Walsall will be entitled to compensation, as Grigg was offered improved terms by the Saddlers.
