Reports suggest Walsall striker Febian Brandy is in contract discussions with The Saddlers League One rivals Sheffield United.
24-year-old Manchester United academy product Brandy joined The Saddlers last summer on a one-year deal following an unsuccessful spell in Greece. Febian went on to make 37 appearances, and scored seven goals for the Saddlers as they finished in their highest position for several seasons.
Earlier this week Walsall manager Dean Smith revealed in an interview, he had met up with Febian at a service station between Walsall and Manchester and was informed by Febian that would like to ply his trade in the Championship and had Walsall made the jump, he would be happy to sign. However earlier this morning, in another interview, Dean Smith suggested Febian had been holding talks with League One side Sheffield United, Smith is quoted as saying, "I'll be disappointed if he goes there"
