WALSALL FC'S RELEASED AND RETAINED

This afternoon Walsall manager Dean Smith began meeting with players to discuss their futures with the club. Some will be offered contract extensions, whilst others are likely to be informed of their upcoming release.

RETAINED; the following players have been offered new deals;

James Chambers
Adam Chambers
Ben Purkiss
Will Grigg
Febian Brandy

RELEASED: The following players have not been offered a new contract;

Jake Jones
George Bowerman
Aaron Williams
Richard Taundry
Connor Taylor

A playing deal has also been offered to Dean Holden, which also includes the role of Pro Development Coach, looking after the players in the 18-21 age group.

The club will also be exercising their option to extend the contract of emerging duo, Ben George and Kieron Morris bu one-year.
