Walsall manager Dean Smith has urged midfielder Adam Chambers to sign his new contract and build on last seasons solid performances.
Walsall manager Dean Smith has urged midfielder Adam Chambers to sign his new contract and build on last seasons solid performances.

Speaking to the Express & Star, Smith said, “For the last half of the season Adam has been one of our best players."

Smith continued, “He has driven the team on and inspired other players in the way he approaches and plays the game. I honestly feel if I can get him to sign again with us that, along with Sam Mantom and Nicky Featherstone, I will have the possibly the best midfield in the league next season.”

Adam made 41 first-team appearances last season and has built a solid partnership with Sam Mantom, both are seen as an integral part of the squad.
