Former Walsall winger Jake Jones' proposed move to Lincoln City has collapsed after a disagreement over a proposed deadline for the club's contract offer to be accepted.
This afternoon Jake took to Twitter to explain the collapse, saying, "All I asked for was time too think about the offer ... And they gave me a stupid deadline like that".
Jake also took the time to thank the Lincoln City supporters' who became fond of the talented wide-man during a loan spell with The Imps last season, he said, "Would like to say thank you to all the Lincoln fans ! Been so good having your backing and i wish you all the best".
It is rumoured he is now considering a contract offer from Lincoln's Blue Square Bet Premier League rivals Tamworth, who recently installed Dale Belford as manager.
