The Football League is set to announce a new sponsorship deal after current sponsor npower confirmed they would not be renewing their £21m three-year agreement.
The League have been in talks with a number of companies, but DIY chain B&Q are believed to be leading the race and are expected to ink a deal worth around £9m a year.
This deal will provide a funding increase to the league, which has recently seen attendances dip across the board.
