YOUR CHANCE TO TRAIN WITH BOXING CHAMPION

Walsall's own British Boxing Champion and Saddlers fan Martin Gethin has offered his support to club captain Dean Holden and an upcoming fund raiser for the Meningitis Trust.

Dean and his wife Danielle tragically lost their 17-month-old daughter Cici Milly to Meningococcal Sepsis, a form of Meningitis, last summer.

Martin has offered a once in a life time opportunity to any boxing fan. The highest bidder will have the rare opportunity to train with Martin at the gym, and also receive a signed boxing glove and have his or her photograph taken with the champion himself.

It is hoped the auction will take place on ebay next month to coincide with the bucket collection that the Holden family and the Walsall Football Supporters' Trust are planning to hold at the Notts County home fixture on Saturday 16th February.

Also in the auction will be signed England shirt which is to be donated by the Football Association and autographed by the entire England U21 team when England face Sweden at the Banks's Stadium on Tuesday 5th February.

Walsall Football Club will also be donating Dean's yellow third kit at the end of the season to raise further funds, again a superb gesture which should create plenty of interest amongst Saddlers fans.

We also have an Holland v Northern Ireland programme signed by Will Grigg which of course was his first Full International Cap.

Other auction items are being sought as we speak and will be announced as they are received.
