Walsall manager Dean Smith has thanked club Chairman Jeff Bonser for his "unwavering" support over the season.
Speaking to the Express and Star Smith hailed Bonsers regular visits to the clubs Essington training ground and his backing of the contract extensions of Head of Youth Neil Woods and youth Prospect Malvind Benning.
Smith also acknowledged Bonsers "unwavering" support of him and his team during the clubs win-less run, despite many critics calling for the plug to be pulled.
This comes after 'Uncle' Jeff ended his self imposed by appearing at The Saddlers npower League One clash with Preston North End, although it is believed he also attended the game at Milton Keynes Dons.
It will be interesting to see how many more games Mr Bonser attends during the rest of the season.
