West Bromwich Albion midfielder Sam Mantom is set to return to Walsall on loan for the remainder of the season.
With The Baggies boasting a massive squad, opportunities for first team football are severely limited for the 20-year-old Stourbridge born midfielder and he has made it clear to the management that he has no intention of sitting on the sidelines awaiting appearances when a ready made first-team role is available at The Banks's Stadium.
Mantom originally joined The Saddlers in March 2012 for a thirteen game spell and returned to 'Fortress Bescot' in November last year for a further nine games.
