NEW Bescot Banter columnist Sam Wright previews Saturday's trip to Bournemouth;
Walsall travel to Bournemouth tomorrow in high spirits after
a great performance and more importantly a great result again Preston last
Saturday. It is predicted that the Saddlers will be unchanged, and will
continue with the 4-4-2 formation, with Grigg and Bowerman leading the line.
Brandy may feature at some stage after being declared fit last week, but the
Chambers twins will both remain out for the game.
Bournemouth come into the game off the back of a 4-0 drubbing
away at Swindon last Saturday, and are also suffering nothing short of an
injury crisis lately, with yet another player, defender Simon Francis going out
injured this week. Francis joins Lee Barnard, Charlie Sheringham, Stephen
Purches, and Richard Hughes on the Cherries growing injury list for tomorrow’s
game.
Traditionally, we have experienced mixed experiences at
Bournemouth, winning 14 and losing 23 games down on the south coast to go with
16 draws, but a good performance early in last season saw us take one of our
three away victories of the campaign, after two goals from Ryan Jarvis.
There is a lot of excitement building for this one, can we
keep our early high hopes up, or will it be all doom and gloom in Dorset?
Prediction: Bournemouth 1 Walsall 1
