Walsall have signed defender Andy Taylor on a contract until the end of the season following his performance in Tuesday's Capital One Cup Tie away to Queens Park Rangers.
The 26 year-old began his career with Blackburn Rovers where he came through the ranks of his hometown club
During his time at Ewood Park he had loan spells at Queens Park Rangers, Blackpool, Crewe Alexandra, Huddersfield Town and Tranmere Rovers.
Taylor joined Sheffield United at the beginning of the 2009-2010 season for an undisclosed fee, after three injury hit seasons and almost 40 appearances Andy was released by Sheffield United at the end of last season.
