Walsall Football Club and Sheffield United have agreed compensation allowing the transfer of defender Darryl Westlake's registration.
The 21-year-old right back came through the ranks at The Banks's Stadium and made nearly 70 first team appearances.
Walsall had offered Westlake a new contract at the end of last season but the Sutton Coldfield born defender decided it was time for change and began the search for a new club.
Both clubs have agreed to have the fee undisclosed.
