Saddlers fan favourite Emmanuel Ledesma has rejected the clubs offer of a new two year contract in favour of free transfer to npower Championship side, Middlesbrough.
Ledesma joined Walsall for the first time in 2011 following a successful trial, he went on to make ten league appearances, scoring one goal, helping the Saddlers avoid relegation on the last day of the season.
The 24-year-old Quilmes born attacker returned for his second spell at The Banks's Stadium in March following a brief return to boyhood club Defensa y Justicia, he again made ten league appearances and scored four goals, once again helping the club avoid relegation
'Emmy has penned a three-year deal at The Riverside Stadium and will be eligible to join up with the rest of the Boro squad immediately.
