Walsall Football Club have today confirmed that they are still yet to receive shipments of this season's replica shirts and training wear, with supplier JD Sports experiencing delays in the manufacturing process.
In a statement, released via Saddlers.co.uk, the club confirm; The Saddlers unveiled our new 2016/17 kit earlier this month at New Invention School in Willenhall and the club would like to update supporters on the delivery of our replica shirts.
The orders for our training wear and new playing kit were placed within the required deadlines, however JD Sports have informed us that there has been a delay in the manufacturing process.
We have been in constant dialogue with our kit suppliers and apologise on their behalf for the delay.
A spokesperson for JD Football said: "The kits were on schedule for sale pre-season however due to certain circumstances there is a slight delay. We would like to thank the fans for their patience and understanding."
